Fourth Annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest (Sunday, October 28th from 12:30pm – 1:30 pm)

Does your pet like to dress up? Do you?

Well, we are pleased to invite you to the Fourth Annual Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic Pet Costume Contest on Sunday, October 28th from 12:30 – 1:30pm

Registration will start at 12:30pm.  Judging, by a panel of local experts, will take place at 1:00 pm sharp!  All pets are welcome and the event is FREE.

Categories will include:

* Best Pet Duo
* Best Human and Pet Duo
* Best Canine Costume
* Best Feline Costume
* Best Exotic Pet Costume

There will be food, drinks, and some great prizes! Even if your pet does not enter, come out to see some great costumes.

The 2012 Chamber of Commerce “Party on Price Street” Open House was a ton of fun! We had lots of great food, made some new friends, got some free CFL lightbulbs from Pismo Bob’s and drank our fill of Two-Buck Chuck.  Who could ask for anything more?

Thanks to Joel and Max’s mom for once again doing all the cooking and making sure that fresh salmon and shrimp were had by all.  Can’t wait to do it again next year!

It’s that time of year again,  the 2012 Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce Party on Price Street Open House is around the corner!

Join us and many other businesses on Price Street for a fantastic event.  Each year, all the Chamber businesses on Price Street throw open their doors and invite the public in!

There will be lots of great food, giveaways and prizes, live music, local rescue groups, and a chance to meet the staff and doctors, including our latest addition, Dr. Liz Noppinger.

There will be fun for the entire family (and pets of course!)

Tickets for the Annual Pismo Beach Rotary Club fundraiser, Summer Sizzle, are available now!  This year’s theme is “Wild West!”

What:  Summer Sizzle Event Fundraiser.  A fantastic BBQ Tri Tip Dinner; a silent auction with over $10,000 in excellent prizes from local retailers; a live auction with a chance to bid on vacation getaways, luxury dinners, and personal pampering; and a 1 in 250 chance to win $15000 CASH!  All proceeds go towards the Pismo Beach Rotary Charitable Fund, splitting $15000 between many local charities and projects.

When:  Saturday, August 18th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Where:  The Edward’s Barn on the corner of Pomeroy and Willow Road in Nipoma

The Mane Prairie Sanctuary is a local nonprofit no-kill animal sanctuary dedicated to supporting and sheltering homeless dogs, cats, and horses.  They help to provide a healthy and happy lifestyle for those animals that they rescue.

In order to raise money, the Mane Prairie Sanctuary will be holding a silent auction on Thursday, December 8 from 4:00pm – 10 pm at Round Table Pizza in Arroyo Grande (1412 E Grand Avenue).

The Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic Bi-Annual Haunted Clinic was a scary good time. We had 26 actors, about 150 participants, lots of screams, and a few folks that had to turn back (usually a good sign!).

Thanks to your generous contributions, we raised nearly $400 for the H.E.L.P. fund. We can’t wait to do it again in 2 years!

The Third Annual Pet Costume Contest was also a lot of fun.  We had some amazing entries this year and the decision was truly a tough one for our judges.  Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a really great event!

Join Drs. Conn and the staff of Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic this Saturday as we sponsor the 19th Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk for Woods!

We will be joining approximately 70 other pet related businesses at this annual fundraising event for Woods Humane Society.

There will be raffle prizes, food, free goodies, and lots of great doggie performances including obstacle courses, herding demos, costumes, and best in show.
