We are excited to welcome Ms. Allison Maxey to our Pismo Beach Vet family. She is a 4th year doctorate candidate at Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. As part of her final clinical year of veterinary school, Ms. Maxey will be spending a few weeks with us from late February to early March. As part of her training, she will be assisting our veterinarians and helping with the clinical management of our patients. We hope that you will welcome her!
Allison’s Bio:
I grew up in Texas and as cliche as it sounds, I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a little girl. My interests in veterinary medicine include small animal internal medicine, ophthalmology, preventative medicine, clinical pathology, and emergency/critical care medicine. In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking and cooking, hiking, and spending quality time with my friends, family, and my pets (2 cats, a golden retriever, and a lab mix). After I graduate from vet school, I am hoping to move somewhere with a little more greenery and milder summers, I’ve had enough of 100 degree weather!
