The Second Annual Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinc Pet Costume Contest was a huge success!
We had 22 registrants, over 75 spectators, some great costumes, and lots of fun! Winners this year were as follows:
- Best Pet Duo: Patches, Pia, Picasso, Petunia, Peaches, and Mushu Shampain (French Bulldogs and Pekinese) dressed as a Frog, Lobster, Chicken, Black Widow Spider, Hippo, and Skunk
- Best Human and Pet Duo: Chulo (a Chihuahua cross), and owner Parker, dressed as a Bee and Flower Patch
- Best Canine Costume: Tessa Muranaka (a Toy Poodle) dressed as a Mermaid from Pismo Beach
- Best Feline Costume: Tigger Bernard (a Calico) dressed as a Mexican Bandita
- Best Exotic Pet Costume: Percy Pringle (a Green Spotted Puffer Fish) dressed as a Tenant Whose House is Being Evicted
Can’t wait to do it again next year!
