Meet Dakota. She went missing several months ago for a night and turned up with a fractured pelvis and her right hip was out of socket. Her family brought her in immediately and we replaced her hip and treated her external injuries. Unfortunately, due to the severity of her injuries, her hip continued to pop out of socket and for the last two months she was unable to put any weight on her back right leg.
Dakota needed a $1500 surgery to enable to her to walk normally again. Her family was unable to afford the surgery and the friends and clients of Pismo Beach Vet came through for them! After a $650 donation from the H.E.L.P. fund, Dr. Joel performed the surgery Dakota needed and she is walking again!
